Tinara River Inn, Weligama

We had an amazing stay at this hidden oasis. The rooms were spacious and clean, with nice bathrooms and hot showers. The owners were really nice too make us feel at home, even organizing a tuk tuk ride for us to the boat for our whale watching trip. The breakfast was delicious and the overall hospitality was really good. We highly recommend Tinara River Inn for a peaceful stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had the most amazing time at Tinara River Inn! The owners were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay feel like home. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had everything we needed, including a strong AC and a safe box. The shared kitchen was a great addition for heating up leftovers. The location was perfect, right on the river and only a short walk to stores, restaurants, and the beach. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of local dishes. We cannot recommend this place enough! We will definitely be returning.

The view from the chairs outside the room was breathtaking, as the inn is located right on the river. Despite its peaceful and quiet surroundings, it was only a short walk to stores, restaurants, and the beach. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options, and I especially loved the fresh fruit juice. The kind lady who runs the inn went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable and even helped with arranging transportation and organizing activities. I can't recommend this place enough!
